Fleetbridge Overview Guide

This guide covers usage of the essential features and tools for new users and those who need a quick refresher for the Fleetbridge Legacy website.

First time logging in? Go to app.fleetbridge.com using your email address and temporary password. Please note that you will be asked to accept the terms and conditions and change your password on the initial login.

Tabs

Assets:  Go to Assets. Select your device under Manage Assets, you can change the name, icon and other
details here. Remember to hit Submit to process any changes. Next, set up relevant Notifications
such as; Ignition On, Speeding, or Trip Reports by checking the box and adding an email. Now click
Event Setup; if you’ve selected an option in notifications select and edit the corresponding event.

GeoPlaces:  Hover over the tab and select GeoFences. To begin use Add New or select New GeoFence from the dropdown list. Name it in the text box. Click Assign/View Assets, select the desired assets and add or remove using the arrows. Next Draw/View GeoFence using the tools at the top of the map to draw the desired area. Search address or use the crosshair icon to find the last location of the device(s) assigned. (Optional Step) Click Add/Edit Notifications and fill in the contact email text boxes and select an alert setting. Finally, click Submit to finish creating your GeoFence.

Reports:  Under schedules select Reports. Select the report type, delivery frequency and asset groups to report on from the dropdown menus. Rename the email to something relevant to the report and group. Your email will be preselected. Additional recipients can be added by entering the email addresses into the text field with a semi-colon separating each address. Click the submit button to save your scheduled report settings. Under the settings under Current Scheduled Reports you can view or edit existing reports.

 

Admin
Manage Users:  To create a new user, select New User from the Select User drop down menu. It is recommended to use work emails for usernames. Select the user type from the dropdown menu. For large fleets it can be helpful to make supervisors into group admins, so they manage assets and users in their assigned groups. All other users are best suited to be end users and have only their specific asset assigned to them.

When creating a new user with admin permissions you will be unable to see them in the portal. Admins can not see or edit other admins, if you need assistance please reach out to support for assistance. 


Assign Assets to Users:  To assign assets select the intended user from the dropdown menu. Click on the checkbox(es)
beside the unassigned asset(s) in the UnAssigned Assets column. Use >> to move the selected
asset(s) to the Assigned Assets column. Click on Submit. To unassign assets click on the
checkbox(es) beside the assigned asset(s) in the Assigned Assets column. Click on << to move the
selected asset(s) to the UnAssigned Assets column. Submit the changes.

Manage Groups:  To create a new group, select New Group from the Select Group dropdown menu. Create a name and brief description. Click submit. To edit an existing group, select group from the Select Group dropdown menu. All fields can be changed, or the group can be deleted by pressing Delete Selected Group. Of course, don’t forget to submit. Click submit. Suggested uses for groups are to separate them by department, purpose or location of use (such as fleets with multiple locations)

Assign Group Access:  To assign groups click on the checkbox(es) beside the unassigned group(s) in the UnAssigned Groups column. Click on >> to move the selected group(s) to the Assigned Groups column. Click on Submit. To unassign groups click on the checkbox(es) beside the assigned group(s) in the Assigned Groups column. Click on << to move the selected group(s) to the UnAssigned Groupscolumn. Click on Submit.

Main Page
View Positions and GeoPlaces
Select which assets you wish to view, either individually or by group. You can make the selection by checking the box(es). To expand a group, click the + symbol, and to minimize use the – symbol. To do a quick search use the Search By section and select a time frame. If you would like to see the last position of your assets you can press Go without having to make a selection. To search a specific date or date range click the calendar icon(s) with the magnifying glass, then select the date or range, then press Go. Under data range you may also input the specific time.

 

Preferences

Position Labels:  Here you can modify which information shows on the position label when viewing positions and geoplaces on the map you can also edit how often it shows up (either on every label, or less if searches are typically quite large and generate many close by positions)
