Suggested Usage

The FAT-6560 is a battery-operated asset tracking device designed for long-term deployments, equipped with real-time tracking capabilities. This device is best suited for tracking, protecting, and managing assets. Track outdoor assets such as: Boats, ATVs, Trailers, and even Cargo. Its industrial strength magnet mount ensures secure placement, and its versatile slap-and-track feature makes it easy to use. Asset tracking plans are optimized for assets in storage, and you can upgrade tracking if your assets are in use like an RV during travel season. Plus, this tracker can last up to several months on a single charge when set to once/day mode, and is easily rechargeable via USB-C.

Charging Steps

1. Specialized USB-C Cable Included: Please, only use the included USB-C cable. Cables from other products, or stores will not properly charge the device due to exceeded voltage limits.
2. Monitor the Charging Status: During charging, the FAT-6560's power LED light will flash red.
3. Charging Complete: Once fully charged, the FAT-6560's power LED light will turn off.

Additional Tips

• Charging Time: A full charge cycle typically takes approximately 20 hours.
• Clear Debris: Ensure the charging surface and FAT-6560 are free of dirt or debris before charging.
• Specialized Cable: Only use the included cable. Other cables can not properly charge the device and may cause the battery to become insufficient for device operation. Using alternate cables could risk voiding warranty.

Troubleshooting

If the device is not giving a position when or where expected. Please, complete the following steps, and if unresolved contact [email protected] with your findings so they can investigate at the technical level. If at any point the device gives correct position, you do not need to complete the additional steps.

1. Ensure device is charged using the specialized cable, if not please see charging steps for more information above.
2. Bring device into clear view of the sky, with limited blockage from infrastructure for 20 minutes.
3. Allow the device battery to deplete completely before completing steps 1-2 again. You may also start with step 3 if preferred. 

If the device is still not online in the portal, please note device light colors, or responses where applicable. Include date, time and expected (real) location vs actual (shown by gps) location if the device is online but there are location errors. If possible, note or photograph the device and installation location, we are always happy to improve device documentation and performance.
